Story:

This piece was inspired by a popular manga and anime called Naruto.

The tomoe's origins trace back to ancient Japan, where it first appeared in the context of Shinto beliefs. The symbol is often associated with Hachiman, the god of war and archery, and can be found adorning many Shinto shrines, samurai armor, and family crests. Its presence in these sacred and noble settings underscores its importance in Japanese culture.

The swirling motion of the tomoe is thought to signify the dynamic and ever-changing nature of life. Learn more here.

Care Instructions

Make sure your jewelry lasts a lifetime.

Fine jewelry represents not only a financial investment but also an emotional connection to significant life events. Proper care and maintenance are essential to preserving the beauty and integrity of these exquisite pieces. The following guidelines provide a comprehensive approach to ensure your jewelry remains in optimal condition.

1. Regular Cleaning

To maintain the luster of your jewelry, it is advisable to clean your pieces regularly. A gentle cleaning solution can be made using warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Soak the jewelry for a few minutes, then use a soft-bristled brush to remove any dirt or debris. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. This method is suitable for most metals and gemstones.

2. Storage Practices

Proper storage is crucial in preventing scratches and tangles. Store each piece of jewelry separately in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box. Avoid placing multiple items in direct contact with each other, as this can lead to damage. For necklaces, consider using hooks or a dedicated necklace organizer to prevent knots.

3. Avoiding Harsh Chemicals

Exposure to harsh chemicals can tarnish or damage fine jewelry. It is advisable to remove jewelry before using cleaning products, swimming in chlorinated pools, or applying lotions and perfumes. Additionally, avoid wearing jewelry while engaging in activities that may expose it to excessive dirt or impact.

4. Professional Maintenance

For intricate pieces or those with delicate settings, it is recommended to seek professional cleaning and maintenance at least once a year. Jewelers can inspect for loose stones, worn prongs, and other potential issues that may require attention. Regular professional maintenance can extend the life of your jewelry significantly.

5. Special Considerations for Specific Materials

Certain materials require additional care. For example, pearls and opals are softer gemstones that can be easily scratched. These should be cleaned with a damp cloth and stored away from other jewelry. Additionally, gold and silver can tarnish over time; using a specialized polishing cloth can help restore their shine.

6. Handling with Care

When wearing your jewelry, handle it with care. Avoid pulling or tugging on pieces, especially those with delicate chains or settings. Be mindful of the environments in which you wear your jewelry, as certain activities may pose a risk of damage.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your fine jewelry remains a cherished part of your collection for years to come. Proper care not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of your pieces but also preserves their sentimental value.
