Story:
This piece was inspired by a popular manga and anime called Naruto.
The tomoe's origins trace back to ancient Japan, where it first appeared in the context of Shinto beliefs. The symbol is often associated with Hachiman, the god of war and archery, and can be found adorning many Shinto shrines, samurai armor, and family crests. Its presence in these sacred and noble settings underscores its importance in Japanese culture.
The swirling motion of the tomoe is thought to signify the dynamic and ever-changing nature of life. Learn more here.
